Welcome to Palin4America. This site was originally planned to go live upon Governor Palin’s announcement. Due to details of the launch of this site being leaked, we decided to bring the launch day forward and go live now.
We were still in the final stages of setting up this site when we went live, so you may come across some glitches, some empty categories and various items out of place. All of this will fall into place shortly.
As we will explain in our official introductory post, this site, while hoping to attract supporters of Governor Palin, is mostly targeted at potential supporters and people on the fence. Therefore some of the posts we will put up may not be original content and may have already been published by our contributors on other websites in the past . We will republish them here for the interest of people who have not had the chance to read them.
The website is divided in a few simple categories as follows:
Editorial – Posts and articles written by this sites contributors.
Opinion – Opinion pieces written by writers on other blogs and websites. Where we will post an excerpt and link to the original story. Please note; Posting those articles does not automatically imply that we endorse and/or agree with the writers thoughts and opinions.
Policy & Issues – Here we will post Governor Palin’s positions on the various issues facing the nation and the world. This is where we will defend her record.
In Her Own Words – In this category you will find all of Governor Palin’s Op-Eds, Facebook posts, TV interviews and speeches.
Factual - Where we correct Governor Plain’s record
Rapid Response – Where we will fight back the smears and defend her against her detractors.
Candid – Here we will speak truth to power. If there is something we believe Governor Palin ought to know, or if we have an idea that we think might help Governor Palin, we will do so respectfully. Governor Palin does not have to take our advice, we will not be disappointed if she doesn’t and we will not brag when and if she does. We are just here to help in any way possible.
We also invite our readers to submit their ideas or thoughts what they would like to tell Governor Palin given the chance. Please ensure those are respectful and constructive. Write to candid@palin4america.com. It is at the editors discretion whether we post it and submissions may be edited. We will also only post those emails that are accompanied by a full name, address and telephone number. While we will only post your name, the details will be verified prior to posting. Anonymous letters will be discarded.
Interaction - In an effort to reach out to non-Palin supporters and media personnel, this will be where we will respond to emails and comments about Governor Palin’s record and actions. We invite and encourage emails. Even if you are a supporter and have a question, have a bad day or feel frustrated, email us we will try to respond to your question as quickly as possible. Email us at interaction@palin4ameirca.com
Watercooler – We encourage our readers to stay on topic in individual posts. Watercooler posts are for general discussions where you can talk about anything and everything. This is our new term for Open Thread.
Quick Links – Links to stories we find interesting but don’t think it warrants a standalone post.
Video – A post that includes a video will also by assigned to this category for easy access.
Site News – News items in relation to this site.
As we noted in the opening of this post, we are still at the very early stages, so please bear with us as we rectify and adjust all the issues. If you have something in general you want to tell us email us at editor@palin4america.com. Emails to this address will remain confidential. If you have a tip of a news story or something you believe we should post email us at tips@palin4america.com.
Our official launch post will follow in the upcoming days.
Welcome to Palin4America! We look forward to seeing you around.
For technical reasons This post has been assigned to every category on this site.
