Wednesday Warm Up – Updated

Good morning all!

I loved Gov. Palin’s interview with Greta last night. If you missed it, you can catch it here.

I hope everyone had a Happy Valentine’s day yesterday.  Since it fell on a school night we did nothing too exciting.  I made the family breakfast for dinner.  I made heart shaped chocolate chip pancakes with fresh strawberries and whip cream, bacon, hashbrowns and OJ.  Add some balloons, cards, a couple of stuffed monkeys, chocolate covered strawberries and the fact that we ate by candlelight and voila!  The very simple Firelight family Valentine’s dinner.  It was fun for us.

Celebrating a holiday sure helps take the mind off what crappy candidates we have but then again chocolate and strawberries can pretty much induce a happy denial for a bit.

Hump day news:

Hey, welcome to the party… even if you are a bit late. You are now one step closer to depression as you realize there are no conservative candidates to vote for in 2012.

I hardly call this a deal…

Too bad Mittens can’t do anything about his big, mean superpac…

Do they do kung fu?  I’ve been to this zoo and I’ve seen the pandas. They weren’t doing kung fu for me though…

Oh as a mom of a 7 year old girl who sometimes thinks she is going on 30, I thank you!!!

It’s never too late to split the vote and usher in a second term for Obama…

    Sarah Palin is wonderful. CPAC was awesome and she looked beautiful on Greta. I hate the field more every day and I wish these 4 losers would go home. Santorum has peaked. There are Romney supporters telling Newt to withdraw. If Newt withdraws Romney is the nominee.

      I think she meant that the door is open for the GOP and conservatives to beat Obama. That people are fed up with him and ready for a real conservative in 2012.  I don’t think she was talking about herself in 2012.

    Good Morning P4A Kids…

    Just starting off with a HUGE THANK YOU to Katie for opening up her house to guests for CPAC.  It really takes a very special person to invite and welcome strangers into one’s home.  Katie…You ROCK!  Wish I could have been there and finally met you…but we have none the less been through a lot together over the past year!  I do wish the C4P Birthday Party for Gov. Palin would have turned out
    a bit differently than was originally put forth and that “Special Guest”…would have been the real deal. Shame! You got to meet Charter tho..and that right there would have made the night special!

    Gov. Palin’s speech at CPAC was one for the ages.  But I do have to keep it real…about half way through… I gained a level of “pissedness” that made me want to throw the remote at the TV.  Not towards her…but more so towards those that would do all they can to deny someone from running by threats of physical, emotional, and reputational damage.  When I grew up in America…it was all about…”Anyone can grow up to be President”…Now it is about “what sorry ass loser with his/her nose stuck up the right asses can be President.”  This is NOT my America and the BEST PERSON is NOT running for POTUS!

    She clearly defined the political battle lines in terms easy for all to understand.
     
    IT IS THE PARTY OF GOVERNMENT VERSUS THE PARTY OF FREEDOM!!!!
     
    It is the Establishment of BOTH the GOP and the Dems versus The American People.
     
    Sarah is the head and leader of the Party of Freedom.
     
    If both political party machines go the way of the Whigs, we may remember this past night’s interview as a key and crucial moment that helped to launch the momentum for this sweeping change in the American political landscape.

    Re the obama/contraception matter: Welcome to government-mandated health care and the stripping of our liberties, and more power to the Bishop (Dolan) for not going wobbly.
     
    It was a very poor political choice by obama to pick a fight with a faith-filled organization.
     
    This is an un-American action. It blatantly violates a right in our Constitution.
     
    We will fight to the death vs. this kind of thing.
     
    NOT THIS TIME!!!  It isn’t a partisan issue.
     
    It is going to be an election of the PARTY OF GOVERNMENT versus the PARTY OF FREEDOM–Profound, guys: She is establishing a NEW PARADIGM: Not Democrats vs. GOP, but Government vs. Freedom!!!
     
    Even if SCOTUS overturns obamacare, obama and his “czars” will try to get around and circumvent such an action.
     
    She praises Professor Derschowitz (sp.?) again, and recalls how he came to her defense re the false accusations flung against her  at the time of the Giffords tragedy.
     
    Re the GOP  race:
     
    GOP AND INDEPENDENT VOTERS ARE NOT CONVINCED THAT ANY ONE CANDIDATE HAS SOLUTIONS!!!!
     
    NONE OF THE CANDIDATES HAS ARTICULATED YET THE THINGS THAT WILL RESONATE WITH US.
     
    Guys, it was SARAH who RESONATED with us last Saturday!!
     
    She is head of the Party of Freedom that is opposing the Party of Government–New Paradigm!!

    If anyone is near a TV at 8:30 am ET, Gov. Palin is going to be on Fox & Friends live in studio on the big couch. Speaking of couches, I just hope Nancy Pelosi doesn’t show up and try to get the Gov to cave on global warming.

    She controlled that segment with clear and distinct examples of o’s failngs. Setting the tone and leading the way. BAM.

    Andrew Breitbart is and has been a supporter of Mrs. Palin since before THE UNDEFEATED was filmed and produced.  He has IMNSHO recently been stressed for some reason.  I believe he wasted energy with his rant at OWS after his speech before the CPAC audience.  His speech was not “his usual self.”

    My suggestion is that we all pray for Mr. Breitbart, that he may “rise above,” maintain his cool and continue to use his energies as productively as he has been doing the past while.

    Americans Elect was expressly started by Obama-supporting lefties in order to get a GOP-attracting third party on the ballot, so I fully expect that’s what they’ll do.  I halfway think Donald Trump has been feigning right for the last year in preparation for that.  But their signed up membership is very liberal, so it’ll be interesting to see how they either get them to vote as they want–or count the votes that way.

    Very well done interview by Palin. She is forcing Mittens to be held to account for his past, which he’d like everyone to forget.

    Too bad the Mittbots don’t like this. Unfortunately, they forgot that two people can bring a knife to a knife fight.

    The dude has flipped flopped on abortion, gun rights etc. Plus, he’s trying to argue conservatism by touting a $2 million rainy day fund with a woman who put billions in savings.

    Gov. Palin will be on Eric Bolling’s final show tonight for Follow the Money.  If anyone hears of any other appearances today will you please tweet me?

    I would love it if she was on Red Eye!  That would make my month!

    Palin, on Fox Business Network, says a brokered convention could happen and, if it does, she would “do whatever I could to help.”

    BOLLING: Governor, a lot of people are saying it can’t happen. I don’t necessarily agree with them. If one of the nominees, one of the GOPers, doesn’t get enough delegates, it could go the a brokered convention. If it does get to that and someone said, Governor, would you be interested, would you be interested?

    POSTULATE:  There is no longer a separation of church and state in our nation.

    BRIEF DISCUSSION:  Think of the incredible amount of power that could be amassed if your religion allowed – nay, required – you to control and direct all human activity up to and including who lives, who dies and when.

    Why, if your religion decided the earth’s population was  too high, you could and would be expected to do all manner of things to control it – forced abortions, mass sterilization, euthanasia, death panels and even worse.  Of course you would choose to do these things to those ‘stupid ones’ Palin referenced in her speech Saturday; not to true believers.  Indeed, you could sleep like a baby at nite safe an secure in the knowledge you had done the right thing.

    Tho many do not recognize it as such, the progressives have a new religion (Environmentalism), a new god (the earth), and a new mission in life (protecting Mother Earth from the ‘stupid ones’).

    Now that the watchdogs of freedom(Congress) have passed Obamacare so they could see what was in it, the Left’s new religion has the force of law behind it.
     
    The country that was founded because of religious persecution – the last great bastion of liberty and freedom on the face of the earth – now has a state religion, and,sadly, most of her citizens are so politically unaware and uninvolved they don’t even know it.

    BO and his buds (BO&B) are not waging war on all religion, they wage war on Judeo-christian religion so that their fledgling state religion will have a chance to grow and strengthen.  Hence, the struggle between BO&B and the Catholic/Evangelical leadership in recent weeks.  Their thinkers finally realized what ole BO&B was up to.

    As the War of the Ballot of 2012 heats up, I have concluded that none of the dwarfs left standing have the testicular fortitude to defeat such an enemy.

    There is only ONE that can accomplish that feat.  Tho I think highly of her, I’m not talking about the GOV either.

    She carried us on her back as far and as long as she could, but now’s the time for WE the PEOPLE to finish the job she started – now’s the time for WE the PEOPLE to save ourselves!

    Of course, if our Moral Compass decided to lend us a hand, I wouldn’t object. Would you?
