Major Tuesday

Good morning everyone!

Why major Tuesday?  Well today is the day when we know if conservatives have the right stuff to defeat the liberals and establishment in November. Today is the day that Wisconsin NEEDS to vote for Scott Walker and Rebecca Kleefisch.  Indiana NEEDS to vote for Richard Mourdock.  These victories will make a statement to the establishment that conservative voters will turn out for OUR candidates and causes and our voices still matter.

This vote today is huge. We can not lose Scott Walker and Rebecca Kleefisch and we need to get rid of Lugar.  I don’t think I have watched Fox News in weeks but I guess I will tonight to see the results.  I really want conservatives to flex their muscles in a big way. We need it right now.

For the record, I haven’t heard if my MRI has been approved yet.  The panel met and didn’t let my doctor know before they left for the day.  I hope we hear today.  Again, Obama and his “care” sucks…

I also saw a promo for Bristol’s new show on TV last night.  It looks really good. I’m impressed and can’t wait for it to premiere in June.

News roundup:

Salt conference opens today but Gov. Palin doesn’t speak until Friday…

For the sake of unity

This seems to be an oxymoron

This makes for good entertainment but lets see what he gets out of it…

He is bang on except claiming that Carlson and Scarborough are not a part of the establishment… that’s just laughable…

Well, we all saw this coming…

So why did he stop at age 27?  That’s a question for the book tour…

Hmmmmm

To a degree he is right but he is also missing a large part of the anger…

Yes, where are the indictments?… Bueller? Bueller?

That is part of the problem…

So it starts

Congrats to her…

Nice to know this is how some see our “finest”…

And this is what happens when people don’t think ahead and overstep their boundries…

Pants on fire

Oops

Oh lovely

Have a great Tuesday everyone!!

    Good morning,

Thanks for the excellent write up Firelight and hopefully you will receive good news from your doctor.

With Bachmann, Cain, Gingrich, Huntsman, Perry and now Santorum having endorsed Romney, the GOPe and their media allies will be pushing Governor Palin to endorse Romney.

While the endorsements of the former contestants are understandable, given that they believe Romney will be the nominee, I trust that Governor Palin will resist such calls.

Why? Straight forward really. Governor Palin has already said that if Mitt Romney is the nominee, she will support him 100% and that she is in the ABO camp.

However, Mitt Romney is not yet the GOP Presidential nominee. Ron Paul is still contesting the nomination. Primary voters in a number of states have yet to vote, and delegate selection continues.

As such, given her earlier statements, Governor Palin has absolutely no obligation to issue an endorsement, especially as we do not know who will be the nominee.

Yes, the numbers are the numbers, but until the contest is finished, hopefully Governor Palin will urge Representative Paul to continue to articulate his views to the electorate as he has important things to say about our fiscal situation and the economy.

P.S. I stand with Sarah Palin.

      Good morning, all.

Your post, John Frank, has reminded me of the hockey mom who didn’t bark.  That is, she seems to have gone quiet on her Fox appearances again, has she not?

Perhaps that is her way of avoiding being goaded toward a premature endorsement.

      • Firelight

This week is her Salt conference in Vegas so I would imagine that she is busy with that.

“However, Mitt Romney is not yet the GOP Presidential nominee. Ron Paul is still contesting the nomination. Primary voters in a number of states have yet to vote, and delegate selection continues.”

I’m not counting on an unformed and uncertain tomorrow.  Tomorrow for me is wide f&*$in’ open. I was taught as a youngster not to be surprised by the unlikely and unexpected. It gives one a small edge to live that way, difficult though it may sometimes be.

      Always nice to see you.

Firstly, Good Luck on the Death Panel decision, Firelight.

Don’t forget to Bow Before the Altar of His Magnificent Oneness. That might influence the decision!

The Walker and Mourdoch elections are huge today. I plan on watching me some returns. I think these are only the Dem primaries tonight in Wisconsin, though, aren’t they?

  • OldPat

Firelight, good to see you back and hope they let you live.  Just a little taste of the joys of things to come if we elect either BO or Mitt.

Tho Obomneycare’s primary intent is to put people like me to sleep and to prevent wee ones like Jake from ever being born, productive people like you will also be hurt simply because that’s the nature of bureaucracies.

Here’s a little crosspost to get your juices flowing.  Oops.  I didn’t mean it like that.  LOL.  What say WE put these good ole boys on the operating table and give them a taste of their own medicine?

    Crosspost
Initially it gives you a false sense of security, but it really doesn’t do a damn thing to help you.

After two and a half decades of doing nothing, the Republican Party has become the appendix of the American people.

When I was in Nam, a soldier who had less than six months left on his tour of duty was referred to as a ‘shortimer’.

By my calculations, the GOPe are all shortimers now, and they have 113 days left until WE the PEOPLE show them what WE do to take care of a troublesome appendix.

    • Akabosan

      Again, welcome home OldPat.

In case you ever wondered why you were spared and others were not… It is because of your post 17 – 18 minutes ago (above).  Had you not come back, you would not have been here now to share that with me (and all of the others who are graced to see it).

      Thank you.

      GB

      • OldPat

Akabosan, until the last few days, I’ve been having a lot of trouble with my system.  Maybe my boys have fixed it, but we’re not really sure.

When Firelight coaxed me out of the shadows, I looked around and decided the only thing we were missing was an old-fashioned town crier to remind everyone what time it was, so that’s what I try to do.

We also need to keep the lanterns lit in case someone like me comes along and needs a hand.  Actually, I think that’s what you’ve been doing, lately, so thank you for that.

        • Akabosan

          Yes, OldPat, like Motel 6…

We’ll keep the light on for you.  :-)

    Firelight,
It sounds like these ObamaCare/RomneyCare panels are made up of people in the same mold as their namesakes.
    Indecisive.
    Moseying along.
They’ll get to it when they’re good and ready, missy!

    Continued prayers for ya!:)

    • Riley4Palin

      Hey Nancy!

      Nice to see you!

What are the chances that Zeke Emmanuel was sitting on Fire’s ‘death panel’?  Me thinks she should get a list of the names on her own panel, do some investigative work, and do a write up? You think she is game?

      • OldPat

If she’s not, Whitney is, R4P.  Did u read Whit’s Brietbart articles?

      • Nancy6

Great to see you too, Riley!

Yeah, Firelight would do a great job iinvestigating this type of thing!:)

  • OldPat

    Crosspost
Did you actually expect a single one of these clowns to throw their support to Palin?  If you did, you need to get a tighter grip on reality.  Every one of these jokers are card-carrying members of the PPC regardless of their position on the political spectrum.

I think many of you fell for their little game, became emotionally invested in this or that dwarf and quit seeing the forest because of all those trees.  Bottom line:  The PPC suckered you once again.

You need to understand that these people do not think like us and never will.  To them the feed trough trumps patriotism and they feel no loyalty whatsoever to WE the PEOPLE.

Do you not understand what a parasite is and does?  These people are parasites.  Why is that so hard for you to understand?

Ever since Indianola when she refused to sell us out, it has been us and her against the PPC and that includes the so-called Conservative wing of the PPC as well as the RINOS and Dems.

Unless WE bury a steel-toed boot in their sorry rear ends and kick them all out of power, nothing will change.  You can’t reason with a parasite.  You kill it before it kills you.  Is that so difficult to comprehend?

  • Riley4Palin

    RE:  WI primary today

Fire is correct.  It is both a Republican and Dem primary today.  I will be voting after work.

A little background of the usual BS that goes on in WI elections courtesy of liberals:

    1)  There is an OCCUPY FAKE Republican running against Walker today that labels himself a “Lincoln Republican.”  I honestly think the nutjobs in Madison went around the dirt bag circle of BO, kooties, and human waste back when they were screaming about collective bargaining rights and found their candidate to “run” against Walker.

    2)  Our “lovely” lib newspapers and all media are actually labeling this a “Dem Primary” only.  It is a load of crap.  Of course they will need to lie, cheat, and steal in order to have any chance of beating Walker.  This is their dress rehearsal.

    3)  I’ll be shocked if the Mayor of Milwaukee Tom Barrett doesn’t win today.  The union thugs poured big $$ into dingbat Kathleen Falk’s campaign, but to no avail.  She has even moved off her collective bargaining message (losing issue) and is now……ready for this…….talking about women’s issues and the “War on Women.”  Now where have we heard that before?

Ex Republican U.S. Senator and Chairman of Romney’s National Advisory Board, Mel Martinez attacks Sarah Palin
    http://gop12.thehill.com/2012/05/mel-martinez-praises-veep-field-disses.html

RIght. Well done Mr. Martinez. People can tweet Martinez @MelMartinez and politely remind him that he is doing a good job of killing Romney’s electoral chances.

People may also want to tweet  Reince Preibus and Mitt Romney and let them know the attacks against Sarah Palin are self defeating. @Reince

What to tweet? Send them the links to the recent Breitbart series written by Stacy Drake, Tony Lee and Whitney Pitcher.

Also Devito has a submission posted on c4p that you may want to tweet.

    • Akabosan

Thank you John_Frank for the info.

As Devito says at the end. “Fear.”

I went with the cutest little widow in Lake County to see a play this past weekend, a comedy by an excellent playwright.  But nothing is more humorous than the run up to the coming election.

I was never much of a cigar smoker, but this play unfolding for us makes me want to take up cigars, get a good bottle of Irish, lean back in the recliner and be ready for the next routine.

It is hilarious with the gang that could not shoot straight on one side and a circular firing squad on the other…

Why are Bush and Romney people attacking Sarah Palin?

This comment by 1776er in today’s open thread at c4p provides a reasonably good explanation:

    http://conservatives4palin.com/2012/05/open-thread-296.html#comment-523171924

How do we respond? By standing with Sarah Palin. Clinging to G-d, our guns and our constitution, by fighting back. By not sitting down and refusing to shut up.

As Sir Winston Churchill said on June 4, 1940:

We shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air…whatever the cost may be.

We shall fight on beaches, landing grounds, in fields, in streets and on the hills. We shall never surrender.

Sarah Palin supports in general terms Ron Paul’s message about the deficits, the Federal Reserve (not ending the Fed, but stopping the printing of the money), militarism (although she disagrees with the specifics) and the need for economic resilience.

“The Black Swan” author Nassim Taleb Supports Ron Paul’s Economic Platform on CNBC

While Sarah Palin and Ron Paul have disagreements over foreign policy, these differences can be squared.

It is for these reasons and more that I encourage no endorsement of Mitt Romney, but rather a strategic alliance with Ron Paul’s supporters.

    • Akabosan

      Again, thank you John_Frank…

The piece by 1776er is powerful.

        Indeed.

  • http://www.twitter.com/whitneypitcher Whitney Pitcher

Good afternoon all! Wonderful news about your MRI, Firelight, and prayers for the next steps in getting that rogue stone taken care of!

Here’s to hoping Mourdock pulls it off in Indiana today over Dick Lugar. When one’s Senate career is old enough to be eligible to run for Senate, it’s time to go! This next month should be crazy with the Wisconsin recalls, but in a sense, that’s a good thing about the presidential race being essentially over–the Tea Party can focus its grassroots energy on Wisconsin, and hopefully, that early summer success can provide the needed spark for further grassroots action with Congressional and state races for those of us who aren’t too enthused with getting involved in supporting Romney’s campaign.

This link that Firelight shared: http://dyn.politico.com/printstory.cfm?uuid=C7FE2EA3-F9E0-4AE1-BA47-8F283DFC4646 is indeed a MUST read. I do agree, though, that it’s amusing and wrong to characterize Scarborough and Carlson the way the he does, but the rest is absolutely true.
