Maybe Monday

Morning peeps!

Welcome to a new week.  So yesterday President Obama made a brief visit to my state.  It’s interesting because my daughter had a golf lesson which is up by the theater where the tragedy took place.  The theater is not that far from Buckley AFB where Obama landed.  Nothing was noticeable on our way to golf lessons but an hour later on our way home we passed the exit to the Univ. of CO Anschutz Medical Campus and there were 6 cops cars parked along each side of the highway near the exits and then when we passed the exit to the theater itself there were 6 more cop cars parked along each side of the highway near the exits.  That’s 24 cars total!  We thought maybe something was going on with regards to the investigation or victims but once we got home we realized it was because Obama had arrived.

I had hoped that he would land, meet with the families and then leave but he had to have his press conference.  We did see Air Force One fly directly over our house.  It was flying really low too. We could see the paint job and everything.  That was pretty cool and my kids loved it.  On the exterior, I was very patriotic since my kids were there but in my mind I was giving Obama a “what to for” talking to…

I saw this last night and just love it.  This is why it’s Maybe Monday.

 

Please still keep the victims that are still recovering and the families of those that were lost in your prayers as well as our police and investigators.  They need all the thoughts and prayers they can get for peace, comfort and rest.  Cruela will no longer be posting at P4A.  I think between the fires and now the shooting that she needs a break.  I let her know she always has a place here.   Lipstick has joined our rag tag group of conservatives and will start posting soon.  She might have us all running in circles!

I did not vote for him, don’t generally like him but I am very proud of how he has handled the theater tragedy… kudos for this defense of the 2nd amendment…

       I’m disappointed that you will no longer be posting here.  I don’t know what has caused the split, but I think Firelight was just trying to be magnanimous to you while letting us know that your gems will no longer grace these pages.  Maybe you should have communicated to Firelight  privately that you’re not happy with her explanation.  We don’t need to be dragged into whatever has taken place.  I wish you well.

    Sarah Palin is the one true anti-establishment conservative in the GOP. I love and support her in part because she doesn’t kiss the ring of the Bush machine and doesn’t seek the approval of the media like that fraud Marco Rubio. I have been defending Bachmann lately, something that I never thought I would be doing after she blocked Palin for the establishment.

    The revolution within the Republican party has started.  I look forward to the day that Governor Palin comes forward to organize all the Tea Party factions and other non-activist constitutional conservatives to tell the GOPe that their time has passed. 

    Once we get past this election, I’m hopeful that Sarah will tell the so-called leaders of the GOP to “buck up or stay in the truck”.  The GOPe needs to be told that there are a lot more of us than there are of them and that if they expect to continue to participate, they better get with the program.

    The task will be formidable, but if there is anyone who can challenge the status quo while battling the  GOP hierarchy and the dishonest media, Sarah is that person.

       I was disappointed that @trscoop:twitter tweeted the youtube video this morning.  It was done by a Palin-hater, but he was quick to tweet it.  When I called him on it, he told me I had a problem and that it was “only a tweet”.  I explained to him that since he has 12k Twitter followers, he should be more responsible.  He then called me a Palinbot.  Maybe that’s why I have only 244 followers, or maybe it’s just because I’m not follow-worthy. :-)

        I saw that too. I was quite surprised that he would tweet something like that out especially when there was no evidence that Tripp said such a thing.  I agree RO when you have that many followers on twitter you have a responsibility to verify what you are tweeting.  He wasn’t re-tweeting it either, he originated the tweet from the video. 

        Even if Tripp did say it, why exploit a 3 year old that way?  All 3 year olds say things they shouldn’t and have no idea what those things mean sometimes so why would he help the left bully a kid?  Now that the Lifetime guy that was on the set has spoken out saying that Tripp didn’t say what Scoop/Huffpo/Mediate claim he says I think Scoop should apologize.

          Scoop handled the whole incident very unprofessionally IMO.

          Like a liberal actually.

          From what I saw, he never apologized, never backed down, and resorted to namecalling.

          Isn’t that liberal behavior?

          Very disappointing.

          And not the first time.

          His site is very good, I hope he continues covering Palin. But I also hope he gets thicker skin. Admits mistakes and makes corrections.

        I thought Tripp was funny.  Typical kid, saying whatever comes to mind.  I did think what Willow called Gino was tasteless and low-class.  I’m surprised they didn’t edit it out.

        I would say very few if any. 

        Not only do they want to criticize Tripp who is only 3 but some of our own think it is perfectly fine to throw him to the liberal wolves all in the name of internet traffic. Well, they showed their true colors.  Lifetime said that Tripp didn’t say what the libs claim he said but yet this poor kid is going to grow up with this youtube video out there claiming he did.  That will follow him forever and some on our side helped with it.  

        Kids say crazy things and parents try really hard not to laugh but sometimes you just can’t help it so you cover your mouth/face or leave the room.  It happens.  These people who are so critical clearly don’t have kids or are just haters to begin with.

            There are some tweeters who I know are Palin supporters who do the same thing. So I know to click on the links before I RT them.

            My problem is that he will not retract it once he knows it is antiPalin.

    Hey guys, I just read through this thread.

    WTF happened with Cruela? Don’t get really upset with the way things are going in the campaign. Jeebus. Team Frat House is just as likely to lose as he is to win precisely because he comes from a part of the GOP that’s been dumping on Conservatives since Nixon lost to Kennedy in 1960.

    The Palin/Bush feud is just the latest iteration of the witches brew in the Party that boiled over at the Cow Palace in 1964.

    So Cruela, don’t go away mad. Don’t even go away. Palin’s struggle will be a long, twilight one.

    Meanwhile I go away for a couple of days and find that there is a Rombot troll that their campaign obviously sent over to C4P. Some guy named “everythingispolitics”. This guy is as obvious a paid drone as I’ve ever seen. He’s so dadgum earnest in trying to convince us that it’s our fault for not marching in good order past Mitt’s balcony.

    As you can readily surmise, such people make me vomit.
