Full Speed Ahead Thursday

Good morning everyone!

It was announced on twitter yesterday that this afternoon we will find out who Romney picks for VP.  Anyone have any predictions?  I know who I would like (Alan West) but I also know I won’t be getting him.  I am hoping that Andrea Saul is no longer employed with the Romney campaign by the end of the day but I highly doubt I’ll get my wish.  She really only said the truth of what Romney and his campaign believe.

Seems like Obama is flailing, Romney is flailing and the rank and file of both sides are not satisfied with their candidates.  I watched Anderson Cooper really lay into Bill Burton last night over Obama’s attack ad accusing Romney of killing that poor lady who died of cancer.  I think Obama is shocked that his Bain attacks aren’t working.

So I am counting the days until the Stars Earn Stripes show premiers.  I don’t remember the last time I was this excited about a tv show.  I really think it looks great and I hope Todd does well.

Ted Cruz and Luis Fortuno are now speaking at the convention… I might tune in for them…

I’ll bottom-line it for you… campaigning in red states is pure cover for when SEIU commits massive voter fraud… Obama can claim the votes were due to his “outreach”… it isn’t more complex than that…

I want this man for VP… he just doesn’t let anything get by him…

    That TPaw website message is, however, ominous.  He’s got to be the absolute safest, beta-malest, most vanilla option out there. I have a feeling the attribute that clinched it for him is that he didn’t serve as W’s budget director.

    Meanwhile, look who had to goose his Twitter followers with fakes–just to get over the 700,000 mark?

      What a joke that Romney had to pay for his tweeps.  It doesn’t surprise me though, I think there is very little in life he achieved without simply paying for it.

    The author’s analysis as to why Romney is not doing well is flawed. Romney would not even stand up for Chick-fil-A.

    But, why won’t Romney suggest breaking up the big banks by reinstating the Glass-Steagall Act? Many of us have been arguing this for some time and it would be best for the economy.

      I haven’t time to read the link, but I’ll say Romney’s losing because
      1. He reminds so many of what has been so wrong with govt for so long.
      2. He has no visible convictions beyond his aspiration to the office.
      3. Too many people are tired of the same old Bulls%*t.

      Were Romney to play the Nixon-to-China card and call for the reinstatement of Glass-Steegall, he would leap ahead in the polls.

      But he won’t, because he can’t.

    I took that to mean the winner of their contest to meet the team will be announced in a few hours, not the actual VP, but maybe I’m misunderstanding.

      Yep, I think Ann’s tweet yesterday failed to mention that it was only “one” lucky supporter that the VP would be revealed to.

      I’m glad I didn’t download the app.  I’ll just wait until it gets blasted out on twitter.  I think my wait will be all of a 30 second delay from the people with the app, lol.

    Yeah, The Day newspaper here in SE CT is a real piece of work.

    I’m actually taking great pleasure in the fact that McMahon is thumbing her nose at the oh-so-self-important Editorial Boards (you know they spell it with capital letters!). She gets that they are not only not GOP friends, but they are outright hostile. So what’s the point?

    Got my McMahon sign yesterday and will put it out this weekend after mowing.

    I certainly hope she can pull it off.

       Was interested in you take on the Coultergiest interview on Hannity. I believe that it was all play acting by Animal House Central because Coultergeist has no conservative cred any longer. They are desperate, and still  believe that conservatives are “sheeple” and can be herded.

      I smelled a rat as soon as I heard her rant. Of course she needs to sell books. Good luck with that.

      But interestingly enough 2 Animal House drones spammed the RS Coulter thread last evening trying to argue that Coultergeist still had conservative cred.

      One lame Animal House cretin actually was dumb enough to call himself Mike Leavitt, LOL!  And they said the Governor was stupid!

    Steve King is definitely one to watch. He seems to have uber integrity.

    Even though he’s great friends with Bachmann, for example, he didn’t automatically endorse her for Prez because IMO he didn’t think she was able to be President. He was gracious about it, but didn’t compromise.

Paul Gosar pizza party…..He is a worker, constitutional conservative……but, the only thing they can do now is elect a Rep. senate and President…..without that, the Repubs are going no where….He made a statement with the press in the room, that he wants to see Eric Holder in jail…but, not before Obama leaves office so there will be no pardon….Well for all you people who like heat, it will be 112 degrees today DOWN from 114 yesterday….So Sarah will be on Fox tonight with the Rubioooooo cheerleader….just cant wait for that……have a great day and play nice…..
