While the GOP issued a 2012 GOP “autopsy report” yesterday, Governor Palin played political apothecary on Saturday in her barn burner of a speech on Saturday at CPAC. Her prescription for the GOP and the conservative movement was not one of consultants, pandering, navel gazing, and restraint of principles, but a prescription of the grassroots, outreach, optimism, and liberty. If the [...]

Following President Obama’s State of the Union address earlier this week, Senator Marco Rubio and Senator Rand Paul gave Republican and Tea Party rebuttals respectively. Both of them spoke on important points like outrageous spending, high taxes, and the need for choice in education. Senator Paul rightly highlighted both the GOP’s complicity in big spending and the [...]

Sadly, it seems that this is only further proof that the already blurry line between Illinois Democrats and Illinois Republicans is becoming increasingly more blurry. We are governed by a single party–corruptocrats.

President Obama’s immigration speech was 3,079 words and applause lines, meaning that President Obama’s speech cost the taxpayers just under $520 per word and applause. Including the applause lines is being generous to the President, as if those weren’t included, his speech would have cost taxpayers $527 per word.

Of course, Governor Palin isn’t the political equivalent of pogs or Shirley MaClaine, who has had more lives than most cats. Rumors of her political death are greatly exaggerated, which is just how she wants it.
